This month we rolled out the red carpet for the launch of the Silver Screen Pack in Planet Coaster 2 (and Update 11!), as well as giving you a peek behind the curtain at the development process for the DLC and some tips and tricks for using the Event Sequencer in your parks.

In Case You Missed It!

We released the Silver Screen Pack for Planet Coaster 2

The Silver Screen Pack launched on PC and console! This star-studded pack has brought new visual and special effects, animatronics, and scenery in our biggest content pack to date! Players can now craft movie sets and cinematic backdrops with 650+ versatile scenery pieces from the Silver Screen and Studio themes. Build striking skyscrapers with rich gold detailing and sleek stucco finishes, or place one of the many camera ready blueprints to quickly create a movie-inspired area in your theme park.

Starring seven thrill-filled rides as well as a special guest appearance from a brand new Entertainer, Cornell Butterworth. Let's take it from the top!

We also gave you a detailed look at the Silver Screen Pack with a dapper Rich Newbold and Rich Hutson. They showed off the amazing features including all the new rides and the versatility of the Silver Screen and Studio scenery pieces with a tour of Planco Studios.

Behind the Curtain

In our Behind the Scenes for the Silver Screen Pack we gave you a backstage tour of our team's development process! There is some fantastic concept art (including some of our new Entertainer Cornell Butterworth!) and a jazzy video of our Audio Team working on one of the all-new music tracks.

Update 11

The latest free update to Planet Coaster 2 brought players wait time signs, both themed and un-themed, to use alongside rollercoasters, flat rides and flumes. It also included five new food concession stands, an update to on-ride photos and many more bug fixes and improvements.

Park Manager's Handbook: Creating with the Event Sequencer

With all the animatronics, special effects and new music that has been released with the Silver Screen Pack, in this month's Park Manager's Handbook we've written a refresher for the Event Sequencer. You'll be building immersive displays in no time!
