It’s almost the end of April, and we’ve got lots to talk about! From your brilliant entries into the Festival of Fools April workshop challenge to Free Update 9, here’s everything you need to know.

Free Update 9

In last month's round-up post, we gave you a sneak peek at Update 9, the next free content update coming to Planet Coaster 2 for all base game owners. Launching April 30th, this update introduces a huge amount of content for you to get your teeth stuck into.

For the first time, Park Managers can build arcades in their parks, with 14 arcade machines to choose from, including three classic Atari cabinets! What’s more, Update 9 also adds support for the ASUS ROG ALLY/ ROG XBOX ALLY, flat ride blueprints, and the option to toggle coaster lights on and off.

We can’t wait to see what you get up to with the new arcade cabinets! Here’s the full list of machines coming April 30th:

Want to encourage guests to check out your arcades? Add a prize counter where guests can exchange their hard-earned tickets for prizes!

Festival of fools

Earlier this month, we challenged you to create circus, jester, clown, and funfair blueprints for the Planet Coaster 2 workshop. Once again, you didn’t disappoint with entries ranging from cute classic funfairs to downright creepy clowns (we may never sleep again). Here are some of our favourites:

Take full advantage of Update 9’s arcade machines and treat your parks guests to rows of classic arcade halls.
Avast ye bilge rats – Pirate Cove
Create a pirate cove with waterslides, rides, and pools all themed around the high seas and misadventures of Pirate Captains. Just watch out for those pesky redcoats.
